    Helps reduce ADHD symptoms
"As part of my brain health regimen, I have had improved brain function. Can't say with certainty that this product is the reason why as I am doing multiple things, so I'm will continue with it until such time I learn otherwise. But currently I am very pleased with using this with healthy diet, exercise, and other brain health supplements."
    an Omega-3 without Sea Creatures!
"Finally I have found a concentrated source of Omega-3 that I can take. I am allergic to Iodine and shell fish, so ocean-creature based Omega-3's have been off limits to me. This product has really helped control my auto-immune inflammatory issues."
Alertness alert! This is way better (for me) than I expected.
    "My personal experience:

I mainly tried this because I am a vegetarian (about 20 years) and had read quite a bit about EPA/DHA. I did not expect quick results but I felt substantially more alert within a day or two. I have been taking two of these a day for about a month and continue to experience noticeably improved alertness. After about a week of starting to take the omega 3 supplement, I actually cut my coffee consumption (from 5 to 2 cups a day). I get to sleep faster than I used to (but that could be due to the reduced coffee consumption).

Caveats and a couple of other thoughts:

    1. I'm a vegetarian. My wife isn't. She said she thought it helped, but I don't think she experienced the same level of immediate benefit that I did (but I notice that she's still taking them).
    2. If you are not a vegetarian, you may be able to get EPA/DHA from diet (e.g., salmon and a few other things you can look up on the internet) or you might want to consider fish oil.
    3. I do not like to take pills. I do take a couple of prescriptions, but the only other supplement I take is a multivitamin (but since I am a vegetarian, I do keep an eye on things like B-12 and iron levels -- both when I get my annual physical and iron whenever I donate blood).
    4. These are the results for a small sample. They may or may not generalize to a larger population (These two sentences might lead some of you to conclude that I am a statistician. Bingo.)
    5. I read a lot about this before giving it a try (as much as I could find).
    6. This is probably the 3rd or 4th time I've taken the time to review a product.

    Conclusions:
    1. Who knows if this will work for you? That said, I am really pleased with the product and its immediate effects. If the main benefit you are looking is alertness, my personal experience suggests that it might not take very long for you to know whether or not it works for you. I really can't (personally) say much about other stated benefits.
    2. I haven't talked to my doctor yet, but I will (and you probably should too). I have a regular appointment (with a neurologist) coming up in a few weeks and will definitely be asking him what he thinks. I'll try to remember to update this then.
    3. I've have purchased a second bottle and plan to purchase a third shortly after opening the second. Absent doctor's orders to quit or some negative consequence I don't expect, I plan on using for the rest of my life.

Update April 2019: My appointment with my doctor isn't until next month (and I'll have more to say then)but I have an additional comment. In my first review, I noted that I had dropped from 5 to 2 cups of coffee per day. I do like the taste of coffee but I have switched to decaffeinated. I read a fair amount (usually 3 - 12 hours a day) and used to have to drink coffee while I read (and that 5 cups a day was probably an underestimate, especially on days I read more than 4-5 hours). I just don't need any caffeine (drinking decaffeinated tea too) to feel awake and alert. As JB would put it, "I feel good ...")."
