"Gold" Conquered my Boniva side effects!
"Osteoporosis diagnosis prompted the start of monthly dosings of Boniva - and side effects of heartburn and a general gastrointestinal "unease". Tried a variety of OTCs (Tums, Gaviscon, etc), eating small portions, eating single food type at a meal, and avoiding the "usual" heartburn-producing foods - with little success. Felt best when drinking fluids with protein powder mixtures. Holidays were not enjoyable in the traditional food arenas. I didn't want to exercise as I usually have.
Then, a friend asked me about my unenthusiastic eating pattern at a shared meal, and offered to let me try his "Digest Gold."
